Create Your Vision. Change Your Life.
Moment of truth, I made the Visionary Journal™ for myself just as much as I did for you. As a creative entrepreneur, I was struggling to manage business, family and life. I was frustrated that I wasn’t making significant progress towards my goals. I saw a better life for myself and I couldn’t seem to reach it.
I worked from an overflowing to-do list, had post-it reminders stuck to everything, an endless amount of partially filled notebooks, productivity apps and a vision board full of my unfulfilled desires. All of those things and I still couldn’t gain enough traction to get my goals off the ground. The chaos of life always seemed to derail me from my plans. I was overwhelmed, constantly spinning my wheels and getting nowhere.
The final straw came when I opened a vision book that I had created the year before. I looked at my five-year plan and realized how far off track I’d actually gone. I was nowhere near reaching my five-year goals or even my one-year goals. I had gotten so distracted by all of the little issues that popped up that I failed to put any of my plans into action.
It was then that I decided to create the ultimate planner. One that would be goal focused, provide motivation, structure, regular reflection and a reprieve from my to-do list. I wanted a planner that had smashing goals built into its DNA. Three months later, I had the first prototype of the Visionary Journal completed.
If you’re still struggling to cut through the schedule noise and get focused on your goals, there is a better way.
I’ve been there. I get it. And here’s what I know for sure:
- It’s not that you don’t know what to do. You have a good idea of the work required.
- It’s not that you aren’t doing anything. You’re doing ALL of the things.
- Your problem is you aren’t aligning what you want to happen in your life to the actions that you’re taking on a daily basis.
If you want to experience significant progress towards your goals you need to be intentional about the work you’re doing. It’s time to kill your to-do list. It doesn’t reflect your goals.
The Visionary Journal is your solution.
Combining the power of a vision board, task manager and day planner, the Visionary Journal™ provides a simple structure to help you prioritize your goals and the actions it will take to complete them. You start with the big picture areas of your life that you’d like to focus on for the year, set S.M.A.R.T. goals, create a 90- day action plan while committing monthly and weekly to completing the tasks that will move you closer to achieving your vision.
Stop leaving your goals to the mercy of your memory and random to-do lists. Prioritize the actions that will help you create the life you envision.
I joined Monique’s Facebook group after purchasing the Visionary Journal roughly around February- March 2015. I used the Visionary Journal which then got me through two back to back weddings for my daughters, a first-time art fair and acceptance into a pretty cool gallery here in West Michigan. All of that in 5 months while working a regular job! I am very proud of myself for taking a leap of faith and still a bit stunned that it all happened!
How The Visionary Journal Works
Create Your Vision:
How do you envision your life unfolding? What will life look like once you’ve achieved your goals? What will you have accomplished a year from now? What does success look like to you? The vision section is your space to plan, dream and fill with visual reminders of what you’re working toward.
Set Goals For The Year:
Set a few goals for the year ahead. Think about the things you’d really like to accomplish this year, write them down and set a deadline or two. You can set up to 12 goals but don’t feel like you have to do them all at once.
